  • Lauren, a seasoned dance instructor with over a decade of diverse teaching experience, brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her craft. With a background that includes prestigious ballet, jazz, and tap examinations, as well as a successful career in professional dancing for TV shows like "Big Brother" and "KFC," Lauren is known for her technical mastery and dedication. Beyond her performance career, she has collaborated with industry choreographers and earned multiple state championships for her exceptional choreography. Lauren's commitment to safety is reflected in her certifications, including a Working With Children Check, Police Check, and First Aid/CPR training.

BLAKE WYE-JONES

DIRECTOR

  • Blake, a dynamic force in the performing arts, is renowned for his passion in teaching and choreography. With a prestigious Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management, he mastered his craft through the exclusive 'Show | Business' Course at the Dream Dance Company. As a cornerstone of Sydney's top dance crews, Blake's talent flourished under global creative elites, pushing boundaries and defying conventions. His versatile performances include standout roles at events like Red Bull Music's 'Sissy Ball,' the Sydney Roosters corporate event, and the Sydney Sixers. Blake's stage presence extends to major events such as Real Insurance and the NRL grand final for the NRL Dolphins, where he dazzled as a backup dancer for Sheldon Riley. Beyond the stage, Blake's magnetic energy has graced televised commercials (TVCs) and captivated audiences on popular shows like My Kitchen Rules, The Voice, and Technics Hi-Fi Sound.

ALEYAH MAROS

  • Aleyah has been dancing for 15 years and has been teaching for the last 4 years, across a range of styles, age groups, and abilities.

    She has recently studied a Bachelor of Dance Practice at ACPE and hopes to continue her studies in Education. Aleyah also volunteers at a local Primary School to teach Hip Hop from K-6.

    In 2023 she was accepted into an Elite Dance Team called Wolf Pac where she had performed in various styles of dance including Pom. Throughout competition season they had won multiple titles as well as coming 2nd in Open Age Hip Hop within Australia. During that time she was a coach for an All-Abilities Team, where they had won multiple competitions including AASCF Nationals where they become National Champions in Jazz and Hip Hop.

TAHLIA GARTRELL

  • Miss Tahlia has been dancing since the age of 6. She has danced many styles including jazz, tap, hiphop, musical theatre, Broadway and more. Tahlia has also done solos and many group performances. Miss Tahlia has been teaching/ assistant teaching for over a year now but as she works with kids in her everyday life, she has a love for students improving and growing to their full potential. Miss Tahlia has also worked on her knowledge by going to the Australian Dance Festival and learning from industry professionals, while also being apart of our company teams. Teaching is such a reward to Miss Tahlia as she gets to help children develop and succeed in what they love !

DYLAN McCLELLAND

Dance Teacher

  • Dylan McClelland, a 19 year old originally from Sydney, Australia, is a current full-time student at Brent Street. Dylan is in his final year of completing an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. He works actively as a kids party entertainer, as well as regularly entertainers at Sydney’s Luna Park as a Live Performer.

    Dylan’s notable career highlights are performances in “I’m Not Gay” (Short Film), Kids Fashion Week, World Pride and as a featured soloist for Grounded: Battle of the Arts. On top of these performances, he has also made appearances in music videos for DJ Jazzy and Sydney Bardot.

    His credits span across a range of performances, working with choreographers such as, Paris Cavanagh, Cameron Mitchel, Vi Lam, Jasmine Wilson to name a few.
